In an electronic manufacturing industrial park in Dongguan City, we undertook the waste gas treatment project for many production workshops in the park, with a treatment scale of 2,000 m³/h. The system design adopts the integrated process of "high-efficiency pretreatment + activated carbon adsorption + catalytic combustion", which can not only stably remove organic pollutants such as VOCs and benzene series with a removal rate of ≥98%, but also has low energy consumption and controllable operating costs. The exhaust emission indicators strictly meet the first-level standards of Table 2 of the "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollutants" (GB 16297-1996), achieving the goal of "standard emission and zero secondary pollution".
The project pre-treats the waste gas from the source, first removing dust and acidic and alkaline gases through an efficient spray tower, then entering an activated carbon adsorption box to enrich and adsorb organic pollutants, and finally oxidizing and decomposing the organic matter thoroughly at around 350°C through a catalytic combustion device. In the entire process, adsorption regeneration and catalytic combustion are linked to each other, and there is no need to frequently replace the adsorption medium; the system has a high degree of automation control, and can intelligently adjust the temperature and air volume according to the waste gas concentration to ensure stable treatment efficiency and optimized energy consumption; the equipment occupies a small area and is easy to install and maintain, fully reflecting the dual advantages of economy and environmental protection.
